Nite Finder Mods

The Nerf Nite Finder is one of the easiest Nerf guns to mod, and there are a variety of different types of mods you can make to the gun.

One popular upgrade to make for the Nerf Nite Finder is a mod to keep the light on without accidentally firing the gun. To do this you will need to purchase a momentary switch. Simply open the gun case and cut the wires to the old switch. Drill a new hole for the momentary switch and attach the wires to that switch. Close the case, and the project is finished!

Another mod that is done will make the Nerf Nite Finder use greater force when firing the nerf projectiles. This mod is simple in that all it requires is the removal of the suppression rod that is on the gun then adding a second spring to the one that is inside the gun.

The barrel can also easily be modded to be a bit longer simply by breaking the tip off of an orange plunger you will find inside the gun. Then a 4" PETG can be attached with epoxy or super glue.

A coupler mod can be done to the gun that will allow you to change out the barrels. Simply cut the end off of the large orange barrel that is inside the gun, and use a PVC coupler in the place of the end which was cut. Then attach the two with a smaller PVC piece, and this will allow the user to switch barrels in the gun.

Other types of mods include AR removal, vacuum load, and spring stretch. As you can see, there are a number of mods that can be done to the Nerf Nite Finder that will adapt it for any type of use desired.
