Nerf Dart Tag Speed Load 6

The Nerf Dart Tag Speed Load 6 is one of Hasbros latest additions to the Nerf 2011 series, and it packs a serious punch.

Features of it

Out of the box, the Nerf Dart Tag Speed Load 6 can fire standard darts, air darts, or glow darts at up to thirty five feet. It uses a depression-bar load system similar to the drum load system on the 2010 Nerf Raider.

The Speed Load 6 supports whistle darts, and it can hold up to six darts at a time that are fired by the player by reloading after each shot, or using the slam technique to unleash a volley of quick shots. In this respect, its almost like a Nerf revolver!

Size and Firepower

It isn’t quite as small as the Maverick or the Sharp Shot, but it isn’t nearly as large as the Swarmfire or Raider. The packaging is a little deceiving in this regard. It looks like a pistol, but it packs a lot more punch, making it the perfect weapon for organized tournament play and backyard battles.

Since this is neither a major sidearm nor a rifle, this is a good secondary weapon to have just in case the Swarmfire becomes impractical. The mobility and easy reload features make this a perfect choice for Free for All or Zombie game modes, since it can unload and reload very quickly to handle a number of targets. It may not be the best choice for Assassin, as concealing this sucker isn’t easy.

Better Than Other Pistols?

Amateurs and pros will find great use with this Nerf blaster in support roles. Players with Raiders or Swarmfires should take on an assault role, backed up by a number of squad member with this bad boy. It’s portable and fires at a much longer range than the Sharp Shot.

Blast your way to victory through Nerf tournaments and battles with the Speed Load 6, one of the most easily-reloaded Nerf blasters to date. Pair it up with an ammo kit and unleash a limitless hailstorm of Nerf darts onto the opposing force!

Who Should Get it?

For competitive players and newbies alike, the Speed Load 6 is a great medium-scale introductory weapon, but pros will love it for its lightweight frame, fast reloading, and high shot range. Dominate the battlefield and form a team of your own. Crush the competition and send them fleeing for the hills!

Dart Tag is a great way to get the family outside for a fun, competitive, and safe activity for kids and adults of all ages.

It is pretty darned SICK for a pistol. Range is 25-30 feet, and you can fit 7 in the gun. Load 6, cock the gun, and load one more. It can also slamfire at 2 DPS (darts per second), or 0.5 SPD (seconds per dart).
